Quality Control
All of the law firms in our network are subject to constant review and we grade each one on a monthly basis, taking customer feedback into account.
There are four symbols, clearly displayed on our website so that you can make an informed decision. These are:
Centres of Excellence
Accredited Firm
Non-Accredited Firm
Temporarily Inactive
What the symbols mean:
Centres of Excellence
This means a firm is known for their fast payment and excellent treatment of introducers. STARS is updated and substantial case notes are inserted a minimum of every 5 working days. We highly recommend Centres of Excellence, as they excel in meeting all of our service standards.
Accredited Firm
This means a firm works to a high standard, updates STARS and inserts substantial notes a minimum of every 10 working days. We are happy to recommend Accredited Firms.
We work hard to ensure that only top quality firms make the Accredited and Centres of Excellence grading.
Non-Accredited Firm
This means we have insufficient experience of a firm to date, and are thus unable to recommend them. Once we've received adequate volumes of business, we will monitor a Non-Accredited Firm's performance with a view to upgrading them to an Accredited Firm.
Temporarily Inactive
This means a firm is currently inactive on our conveyancing panel. This could be due to a number of factors, including their telephone or email system being down, relocation, staff illness or - on occasions - where the firm has not met our service standards. Whilst a firm may currently be inactive, it does not necessarily mean that it has failed to meet our service standards. If the situation is rectified, a firm will be back to its normal status as soon as they are able to accept work.
